Vimec s.r.l., a leading company in the world of accessibility and belonging to the international Innovalift group, is looking for a Production Engineer – Industrial Engineer.

The Industrial Engineer in Vimec, reporting directly to the Operation Manager, is an expert in the field of production processes, who becomes the support for the industrialization of new products and who can design production departments, improving their operational efficiency.

The resource will therefore be responsible for the analysis of times and methods, the design of production and logistics layouts and the introduction of equipment, processes and technologies in the production departments.

Main tasks:

• Analyze and optimize times and methods to improve the efficiency and productivity of departments.
• Analyze times and methods for the costing of new products.
• Design and optimize production and logistics layouts to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Keep your logistics kanban system up to date.
• Propose improvement activities in the field of process and product production.
• Collaborate in the design and co-design of production equipment.
• Supervise the industrialization of new products, working closely with the technical department.
• Support the development of new products in collaboration with the Technical Department.
• Support production at the start-up of new products and variants by providing initial training for line personnel.
• Implement, improve and manage quality systems in production in collaboration with Production and Quality.
• Promote the digitization of production processes for the optimization of operations.
• Creation of budgets and forecasts in terms of investments and cost savings.

Requirements:

• Consolidated experience in the industrial field, preferably in metalworking companies with custom processing.
• In-depth knowledge of cold machining and related technologies.
• Expertise in the optimization of production processes and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in the digitization and automation of industrial processes.
• Knowledge of the machinery directive and software for 2D/3D drawing.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office tools.
• Good knowledge of the English language for technical collaborations and intercompany companies.
